What do you need from me to get started?
Usually nothing. We build the first version from what’s already public: your Google listing, your reviews, your photos and your current site if you have one. You correct whatever we got wrong.
What’s the difference between Build and Managed?
Build is a one-off: we design, write and set up the site, connect your domain, and hand it over for you to host. Managed is the same site plus us running it: hosting, updates, small changes, your reviews kept current and a monthly email. Managed has a R5 000 setup fee, waived when you pay the first 6 months up front.
Can I keep my own domain?
Yes. The site is built at a private preview link. When you go live we connect the domain you already own, with HTTPS. Don’t have one yet? We’ll help you pick and register it.
What is Lighthouse?
Lighthouse is Google’s own tool for checking how a website performs. It loads a page the way a visitor would and scores it out of 100 for speed, accessibility and how well search engines can read it. We treat 90 for speed and 95 for the other two as the minimum for every page we publish, and we check it automatically before anything goes live.
How do I change something on the site later?
Reply to any email from us. The change is made on your preview link first and only replaces the live site once it’s been checked. If something looks wrong, we roll back to the previous version.
Do I have to log in anywhere?
Only if you want to. Your portal shows your enquiries, visitor numbers, plan and invoices. Sign-in is a link sent to your email, so there’s no password to remember.
What happens after the 6 months?
Managed carries on month by month at the same price. Managed can be cancelled at any time with 30 days’ notice. The site stays up until the end of the period you have paid for, payments already made (including the setup fee) are not refunded, and you receive the export before it comes down.
What happens if I want to leave?
Your domain stays yours, and your site can be exported as a standalone bundle you can host elsewhere.
